Mr. Chen Xingnian, Director General of the Sport for All Department of the All-China Sports Federation, presided over the meeting that was also joined by Ms. Qin Yue and Ms. Zhang Shu, from the Sport for all Department. TAFISA President Mr. Wolfgang Baumann was joined by Secretary General Mr. Jean-Francois Laurent, Board Member Ms. Jacqueline Kronenburg and Happy Sports China Founder Ms. Zhou Li.
The meeting was an opportunity for TAFISA to learn the current priorities of the All-China Sports Federation and discuss how this could be brought together with TAFISA's current objectives – how both organisations could support each other and the development of the Sport for All Movements in China and worldwide. A key moment was the introduction to the All-China Sports Federation of the Active City and World Walking Day activities that TAFISA and Happy Sports China will develop, lead and deliver in the country as part of their partnership, and how this could align with and serve the priorities of the All-China Sports Federation. Further conversations are scheduled in the coming weeks and months.
